A bachelor of applied arts and sciences is a unique degree for highly specialized professional training designed to enable the student who holds an Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences (AAS) to affordably finish a specialized bachelor’s degree in only two years. Any Associate of Applied Arts and Science (AAS) degree accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) will meet the requirements for an Eastern New Mexico University Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science degree (or a requisite certificate program with a minimum of 30 credit hours). Thirty credit hours of primary technical coursework combined with 24 hours of coursework in a secondary concentration round out the credit requirements for the program.
